In Düsseldorf, a new traffic management system has been realized. GEVAS software was one of the leading project partners.

In one sub-project, a control method for light signal systems especially designed for Düsseldorf was advanced to an integrated tool for planning and projecting with the help of the VTassist components CROSSIG and NONSTOP. In combination with the products VS-PLUS™ and VS-Worksuite™ by Verkehrs-Systeme AG from Switzerland, we have thus created a continuous supply chain according to the OCIT initiative. Besides, GEVAS software was responsible for the traffic situation system and the message system.

The Federal Ministry of Education and Research has commissioned the Düsseldorf consortium to do the research project Düsseldorf in Motion - dmotion, which is part of the Ministry's program Verkehrsmanagement 2010 (Traffic Management 2010).
